How Long Will There Be American Casualties in Iraq?

Just curious what fellow RXers think?

Don't mean to be morbid but part of assessing the cost of this war is how many casualties will be spent and for how long?

While I believe press to be negative in general (for example, what gets more press - Beltway Sniper or local charity drive), what also concerns me is Bush Admin isn't even giving estimates. Leads me to believe we'll be there for awhile. My guess - 2010.

Mudbone - I really hope you are wrong. No matter who wins in November it is not gong to be easy to pull out of Iraq. The Embassy alone will have 3000 personnel attached to it.

This will play out about the same way as it does in Israel.....another day, another attack or bombing, always someone else ready to take up the slack when they lose one....

This will continue for as long as we're over there...24/7 for 365 days.....won't be a matter of "if"......more like "how many" and "who"...
